Rochester, NY – February 10, 2015: Today, BCC Software™, a leader in postal products and data marketing services, announced that its BCC Mail Manager™ product line now supports USPS® Priority Mail® preparation. Emphasis from the United States Postal Service® and increased interest from mailer owners have driven Priority Mail volumes up in excess of 15% over the past five years, according to the latest data available from the USPS. With this new option for BCC Mail Manager, customers can realize immediate discounts of $.20 per piece, with even greater benefits realized as the process of supporting Priority Mail is implemented.

BCC Software President Chris Lien shared his insight, “The USPS continues to see significant growth in package volume and that includes their Priority Mail service. We are proud to be among the very first solution providers to offer Priority Mail support in our popular BCC Mail Manager products. With such an immediate and considerable discount available, we encourage all of our customers to look into this rapidly growing class of mail.”

The most obvious benefit is the immediate savings of $.20 per piece, regardless of priority mail volume, created by the elimination of a surcharge thanks to the shipping services file automatically generated by BCC Mail Manager for priority mail pieces. While some carriers are raising rates and outsourcing final delivery of these types of packages to the USPS, Priority Mail volume continues to be an area of growth for the United States Postal Service. Ultimately, more mailers are looking to priority mail to deliver their critical packages and get high value marketing messages noticed and the volume of Priority Mail will continue to rise.

Users immediately realize $.20 / piece savings on Priority Mail, with additional ROI coming from efficiency and the ability to process more types of jobs.

Perhaps the biggest benefit comes from the ability for a mail preparer to accept the growing volume of Priority Mail jobs from their customers without worrying about how to include the work into their operation. BCC Mail Manager users can take on Priority Mail jobs with the confidence that their staff can use the same familiar interface and automation tools they use to prepare mail today, without the need for additional training or manual intervention.

BCC Mail Manager slices through ever-changing USPS red tape to provide dependable mail processing performance and deliver unbeatable presorting and list management mailing capability with unrivaled economy and value. The software is USPS® CASS™ and PAVE™ certified and handles mailing jobs with push-button simplicity, providing professional mailers an unsurpassed portfolio of mailing services to a wide range of clients. The addition of support for Priority Mail to this stable of capabilities that already includes address standardization, de-duplication, and flexible job configuration options further solidifies BCC Mail Manager as an integral part of any mailing operation.
