The USPS® is again offering six different opportunities for marketers, printers, and mailers to receive discounts on postage by utilizing their promotions in 2021. The available promotions include Tactile, Sensory, and Interactive Mailpiece Engagement; Emerging and Advanced Technology; Earned Value; Personalized Color Transpromo; Mobile Shopping; and Informed Delivery. These promotions are expected to increase the value of direct mail. Each promotion will last between three and six months, with the earliest one beginning February 1, 2021, and the latest ending December 31, 2021.

The USPS has taken steps to make the process for understanding and taking advantage of the promotions more straightforward in 2021 as compared to years past. There is a general guide to participating in the promotions, as well as guides to each individual promotion as well. You can learn more about each – and how to enroll in them – at the USPS website.
